Barangay East Dirita

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay East Dirita is one of the administrative divisions of San Antonio in Zambales, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay East Dirita had a population of 3,852. This made it the 3rd largest of 14 barangays in San Antonio by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay East Dirita accounted for approximately 10.29% of the total population of San Antonio, which stood at 37,450 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay East Dirita changed from 3,573 to 3,852, a shift of +7.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Antonio. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay East Dirita as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
