Barangay Bigbiga

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bigbiga is one of the administrative divisions of San Fabian in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bigbiga had a population of 1,309. This made it the 30th largest of 34 barangays in San Fabian by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bigbiga accounted for approximately 1.50% of the total population of San Fabian, which stood at 87,428 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bigbiga changed from 1,154 to 1,309, a shift of +13.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Fabian. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bigbiga as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Fabian is a municipality comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bigbiga, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
