Barangay Casalat

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Casalat is one of the administrative divisions of San Ildefonso in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Casalat had a population of 2,030. This made it the 30th largest of 36 barangays in San Ildefonso by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Casalat accounted for approximately 1.75% of the total population of San Ildefonso, which stood at 115,713 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Casalat changed from 1,811 to 2,030, a shift of +12.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Ildefonso. Barangay Casalat is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Ildefonso is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Casalat, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
