Barangay Pantoc

Barangay Pantoc is a very small barangay in the municipality of San Isidro, located in the province of Abra, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pantoc had a population of 471. This made it the 6th largest of 9 barangays in San Isidro by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pantoc accounted for approximately 9.93% of the total population of San Isidro, which stood at 4,745 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 425 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 471 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pantoc as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Isidro is a municipality comprising 9 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pantoc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
