Barangay District III (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay District III (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of San Jacinto in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay District III (Pob.) had a population of 1,902. This made it the 5th largest of 21 barangays in San Jacinto by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay District III (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.41% of the total population of San Jacinto, which stood at 29,686 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay District III (Pob.) changed from 1,976 to 1,902, a shift of -3.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in San Jacinto. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay District III (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Jacinto is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay District III (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
