Barangay 1 (Pob.)

Barangay 1 (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of San Jose, located in the province of Occidental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 1 (Pob.) had a population of 227. This made it the 39th largest of 39 barangays in San Jose by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 1 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.15% of the total population of San Jose, which stood at 153,267 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay 1 (Pob.) moving from 283 residents to 227 residents, an intercensal change of -19.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
