Barangay Sico II

Barangay Sico II is a small barangay in the municipality of San Juan, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sico II had a population of 1,068. This made it the 39th largest of 42 barangays in San Juan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sico II accounted for approximately 0.94% of the total population of San Juan, which stood at 114,068 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sico II changed from 1,100 to 1,068, a shift of -2.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in San Juan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sico II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Juan is a municipality comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sico II, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
