Barangay Rizal District (Pob.)

Situated in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Rizal District (Pob.) is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal District (Pob.) had a population of 2,391. This made it the 11th largest of 15 barangays in San Leonardo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal District (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.49% of the total population of San Leonardo, which stood at 68,536 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,428 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,391 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.5%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Rizal District (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Leonardo is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal District (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
