Barangay Nagsaag

Barangay Nagsaag is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of San Manuel, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagsaag had a population of 2,714. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in San Manuel by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagsaag accounted for approximately 5.00% of the total population of San Manuel, which stood at 54,271 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagsaag moving from 2,885 residents to 2,714 residents, an intercensal change of -5.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagsaag as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
