Barangay Dicamay

Barangay Dicamay is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of San Mariano, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dicamay had a population of 2,012. This made it the 10th largest of 36 barangays in San Mariano by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dicamay accounted for approximately 3.35% of the total population of San Mariano, which stood at 60,124 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dicamay moving from 1,918 residents to 2,012 residents, an intercensal change of +4.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dicamay as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
