Barangay Gangalan

Barangay Gangalan is a small barangay in the municipality of San Mariano, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Gangalan had a population of 1,779. This made it the 16th largest of 36 barangays in San Mariano by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gangalan accounted for approximately 2.96% of the total population of San Mariano, which stood at 60,124 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gangalan moving from 1,649 residents to 1,779 residents, an intercensal change of +7.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
