Barangay Bgy. 8 Pob. is a small barangay in the municipality of San Miguel, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bgy. 8 Pob. had a population of 1,340. This made it the 8th largest of 24 barangays in San Miguel by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bgy. 8 Pob. accounted for approximately 4.45% of the total population of San Miguel, which stood at 30,115 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,163 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,340 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.2%, consistent with a growing settlement.
