Barangay San Felipe East

Barangay San Felipe East forms part of San Nicolas, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Felipe East had a population of 3,481. This made it the 1st largest of 33 barangays in San Nicolas by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Felipe East accounted for approximately 8.75% of the total population of San Nicolas, which stood at 39,778 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,640 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,481 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +31.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Felipe East is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Nicolas is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Felipe East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
