Barangay San Felipe West

Situated in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, Barangay San Felipe West is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Felipe West had a population of 1,235. This made it the 14th largest of 33 barangays in San Nicolas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Felipe West accounted for approximately 3.10% of the total population of San Nicolas, which stood at 39,778 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,019 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,235 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +21.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Felipe West as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
