Barangay Tambubong

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Tambubong is one of the administrative divisions of San Rafael in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tambubong had a population of 7,719. This made it the 3rd largest of 34 barangays in San Rafael by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tambubong accounted for approximately 7.49% of the total population of San Rafael, which stood at 103,097 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tambubong moving from 7,810 residents to 7,719 residents, an intercensal change of -1.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tambubong as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Rafael is a municipality comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tambubong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
