Barangay Insubuan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Insubuan is one of the administrative divisions of San Remigio in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Insubuan had a population of 386. This made it the 40th largest of 45 barangays in San Remigio by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Insubuan accounted for approximately 1.13% of the total population of San Remigio, which stood at 34,045 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Insubuan moving from 299 residents to 386 residents, an intercensal change of +29.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Insubuan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
