Barangay Ramon Magsaysay

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ramon Magsaysay is one of the administrative divisions of San Remigio in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ramon Magsaysay had a population of 675. This made it the 19th largest of 45 barangays in San Remigio by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ramon Magsaysay accounted for approximately 1.98% of the total population of San Remigio, which stood at 34,045 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 701 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 675 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Ramon Magsaysay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Remigio is a municipality comprising 45 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
