Barangay Santa Clara

Situated in Santa Ana, Cagayan, Barangay Santa Clara is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Clara had a population of 1,004. This made it the 11th largest of 16 barangays in Santa Ana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Clara accounted for approximately 2.81% of the total population of Santa Ana, which stood at 35,688 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 916 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,004 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santa Clara is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Ana is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Clara, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
