Barangay Visitacion (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Visitacion (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Ana in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Visitacion (Pob.) had a population of 1,279. This made it the 9th largest of 16 barangays in Santa Ana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Visitacion (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.58% of the total population of Santa Ana, which stood at 35,688 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,359 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,279 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.9%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Visitacion (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Santa Ana is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Visitacion (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
