Barangay Tibolo

Situated in Santa Cruz, Davao Del Sur, Barangay Tibolo is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tibolo had a population of 1,377. This made it the 14th largest of 18 barangays in Santa Cruz by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tibolo accounted for approximately 1.36% of the total population of Santa Cruz, which stood at 101,125 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tibolo moving from 1,314 residents to 1,377 residents, an intercensal change of +4.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tibolo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
