Barangay Pinipin

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pinipin is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Cruz in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pinipin had a population of 1,222. This made it the 9th largest of 49 barangays in Santa Cruz by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinipin accounted for approximately 2.95% of the total population of Santa Cruz, which stood at 41,366 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pinipin moving from 1,135 residents to 1,222 residents, an intercensal change of +7.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
