Barangay San Francisco

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Francisco is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Ignacia in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Francisco had a population of 2,565. This made it the 8th largest of 24 barangays in Santa Ignacia by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Francisco accounted for approximately 4.97% of the total population of Santa Ignacia, which stood at 51,626 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,318 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,565 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Francisco is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
