Barangay Santa Ines East

Barangay Santa Ines East is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santa Ignacia, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Ines East had a population of 2,626. This made it the 6th largest of 24 barangays in Santa Ignacia by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Ines East accounted for approximately 5.09% of the total population of Santa Ignacia, which stood at 51,626 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,446 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,626 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santa Ines East is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Ignacia is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Ines East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
