Barangay Bubug

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bubug is one of the administrative divisions of Santo Tomas in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bubug had a population of 1,220. This made it the 6th largest of 27 barangays in Santo Tomas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bubug accounted for approximately 4.97% of the total population of Santo Tomas, which stood at 24,528 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bubug changed from 1,185 to 1,220, a shift of +3.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santo Tomas. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bubug as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
