Barangay Tady

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tady is one of the administrative divisions of Sara in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tady had a population of 1,638. This made it the 12th largest of 42 barangays in Sara by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tady accounted for approximately 3.00% of the total population of Sara, which stood at 54,637 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tady changed from 1,651 to 1,638, a shift of -0.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Sara. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tady as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sara is a municipality comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tady, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Iloilo, which contains 1,901 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Tady ranks 391st by 2020 population.
