Barangay Don Eleno

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Don Eleno is one of the administrative divisions of Sergio osmeña Sr. in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Don Eleno had a population of 261. This made it the 38th largest of 39 barangays in Sergio osmeña Sr. by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Don Eleno accounted for approximately 0.82% of the total population of Sergio osmeña Sr., which stood at 31,942 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 299 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 261 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -12.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Don Eleno as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
