Barangay Bubog

Barangay Bubog forms part of Sibunag, a municipality in Guimaras, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 13th largest of 14 barangays in Sibunag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bubog accounted for approximately 3.32% of the total population of Sibunag, which stood at 23,162 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bubog moving from 738 residents to 770 residents, an intercensal change of +4.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bubog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sibunag is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bubog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
