Barangay I (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay I (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Silang in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay I (Pob.) had a population of 1,155. This made it the 60th largest of 64 barangays in Silang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay I (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.39% of the total population of Silang, which stood at 295,644 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay I (Pob.) changed from 1,021 to 1,155, a shift of +13.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Silang. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay I (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Silang is a municipality comprising 64 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay I (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
