Barangay Upper Nipaan

Barangay Upper Nipaan is a small barangay in the municipality of Sindangan, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Upper Nipaan had a population of 787. This made it the 51st largest of 52 barangays in Sindangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Upper Nipaan accounted for approximately 0.76% of the total population of Sindangan, which stood at 103,952 in the same census year.
