Barangay Zone IV (Pob.)

Situated in Sogod, Southern Leyte, Barangay Zone IV (Pob.) is one of 45 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Zone IV (Pob.) had a population of 406. This made it the 34th largest of 45 barangays in Sogod by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone IV (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.85% of the total population of Sogod, which stood at 47,552 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Zone IV (Pob.) moving from 470 residents to 406 residents, an intercensal change of -13.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
