Barangay Padul

Barangay Padul is a small barangay in the municipality of Solana, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Padul had a population of 1,971. This made it the 19th largest of 38 barangays in Solana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Padul accounted for approximately 2.23% of the total population of Solana, which stood at 88,445 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Padul moving from 1,836 residents to 1,971 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Padul as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
