Barangay Poblacion North

Barangay Poblacion North forms part of Solano, a municipality in Nueva Vizcaya, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion North had a population of 976. This made it the 20th largest of 22 barangays in Solano by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion North accounted for approximately 1.49% of the total population of Solano, which stood at 65,287 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,085 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 976 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -10.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion North as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Solano is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion North, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Vizcaya, which contains 275 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Poblacion North ranks 198th by 2020 population.
