Barangay Macaycayawan

Barangay Macaycayawan is a small barangay in the municipality of Sual, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Macaycayawan had a population of 688. This made it the 19th largest of 19 barangays in Sual by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Macaycayawan accounted for approximately 1.76% of the total population of Sual, which stood at 39,091 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Macaycayawan moving from 654 residents to 688 residents, an intercensal change of +5.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
