Barangay Campokpok

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Campokpok is one of the administrative divisions of Tabango in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Campokpok had a population of 5,832. This made it the 2nd largest of 13 barangays in Tabango by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Campokpok accounted for approximately 17.22% of the total population of Tabango, which stood at 33,868 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Campokpok moving from 5,979 residents to 5,832 residents, an intercensal change of -2.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Campokpok as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Tabango is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Campokpok, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
