Barangay Dalid

Situated in Tabuelan, Cebu, Barangay Dalid is one of 12 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dalid had a population of 1,732. This made it the 8th largest of 12 barangays in Tabuelan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalid accounted for approximately 5.99% of the total population of Tabuelan, which stood at 28,907 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,318 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,732 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +31.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Dalid is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tabuelan is a municipality comprising 12 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalid, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dalid ranks 601st by 2020 population.
