Situated in Taft, Eastern Samar, Barangay Beto is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Beto had a population of 302. This made it the 21st largest of 24 barangays in Taft by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Beto accounted for approximately 1.61% of the total population of Taft, which stood at 18,786 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Beto moving from 269 residents to 302 residents, an intercensal change of +12.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
