Barangay Dimayon

Barangay Dimayon is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Tagoloan, located in the province of Lanao Del Norte, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dimayon had a population of 2,779. This made it the 2nd largest of 7 barangays in Tagoloan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dimayon accounted for approximately 18.41% of the total population of Tagoloan, which stood at 15,091 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dimayon moving from 3,057 residents to 2,779 residents, an intercensal change of -9.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
