Barangay Znac

Situated in Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte, Barangay Znac is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Znac had a population of 1,260. This made it the 7th largest of 20 barangays in Tampilisan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Znac accounted for approximately 5.11% of the total population of Tampilisan, which stood at 24,680 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Znac moving from 1,620 residents to 1,260 residents, an intercensal change of -22.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Znac is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
