Situated in Tanay, Rizal, Barangay Pinagkamaligan (Pob.) is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pinagkamaligan (Pob.) had a population of 3,626. This made it the 9th largest of 20 barangays in Tanay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinagkamaligan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.60% of the total population of Tanay, which stood at 139,420 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,851 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,626 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +27.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pinagkamaligan (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
