Barangay New Lambunao

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay New Lambunao is one of the administrative divisions of Tantangan in South Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay New Lambunao had a population of 2,113. This made it the 11th largest of 13 barangays in Tantangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay New Lambunao accounted for approximately 4.62% of the total population of Tantangan, which stood at 45,744 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay New Lambunao moving from 2,329 residents to 2,113 residents, an intercensal change of -9.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
