Barangay Lambingan

Barangay Lambingan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Tanza, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lambingan had a population of 2,759. This made it the 27th largest of 41 barangays in Tanza by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lambingan accounted for approximately 0.88% of the total population of Tanza, which stood at 312,116 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lambingan moving from 1,850 residents to 2,759 residents, an intercensal change of +49.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Lambingan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tanza is a municipality comprising 41 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lambingan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
