Situated in Tanza, Cavite, Barangay Punta II is one of 41 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tanza. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Punta II as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Tanza is a municipality comprising 41 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Punta II, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
