Barangay Bucana

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bucana is one of the administrative divisions of Ternate in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bucana had a population of 1,111. This made it the 10th largest of 10 barangays in Ternate by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bucana accounted for approximately 4.51% of the total population of Ternate, which stood at 24,653 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 855 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,111 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +29.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bucana as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
