Barangay IV (Pob.)

Situated in Tiaong, Quezon, Barangay IV (Pob.) is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay IV (Pob.) had a population of 986. This made it the 28th largest of 31 barangays in Tiaong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay IV (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.93% of the total population of Tiaong, which stood at 106,265 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,005 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 986 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.9%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay IV (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
