Barangay Ap-apid

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ap-apid is one of the administrative divisions of Tinoc in Ifugao, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ap-apid had a population of 1,240. This made it the 8th largest of 12 barangays in Tinoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ap-apid accounted for approximately 6.71% of the total population of Tinoc, which stood at 18,475 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ap-apid moving from 1,153 residents to 1,240 residents, an intercensal change of +7.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Ap-apid is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tinoc is a municipality comprising 12 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ap-apid, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
