Barangay San Isidro Village

Situated in Virac, Catanduanes, Barangay San Isidro Village is one of 63 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro Village had a population of 5,459. This made it the 1st largest of 63 barangays in Virac by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro Village accounted for approximately 7.13% of the total population of Virac, which stood at 76,520 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,905 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,459 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro Village as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Virac is a municipality comprising 63 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro Village, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
