Barangay Siguiran

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Siguiran is one of the administrative divisions of Abulug in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Siguiran had a population of 1,376. This made it the 10th largest of 20 barangays in Abulug by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Siguiran accounted for approximately 3.98% of the total population of Abulug, which stood at 34,579 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Siguiran moving from 1,407 residents to 1,376 residents, an intercensal change of -2.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Siguiran is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
