Barangay Cabugao

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cabugao is one of the administrative divisions of Aglipay in Quirino, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabugao had a population of 594. This made it the 24th largest of 25 barangays in Aglipay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabugao accounted for approximately 1.93% of the total population of Aglipay, which stood at 30,714 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabugao moving from 468 residents to 594 residents, an intercensal change of +26.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabugao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
