Barangay Progreso (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Progreso (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Aglipay in Quirino, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Progreso (Pob.) had a population of 1,209. This made it the 12th largest of 25 barangays in Aglipay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Progreso (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.94% of the total population of Aglipay, which stood at 30,714 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Progreso (Pob.) changed from 1,192 to 1,209, a shift of +1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Aglipay. Barangay Progreso (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
