Barangay Nazareno

Barangay Nazareno forms part of Agoo, a municipality in La Union, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nazareno had a population of 2,232. This made it the 6th largest of 49 barangays in Agoo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nazareno accounted for approximately 3.38% of the total population of Agoo, which stood at 66,028 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nazareno moving from 2,061 residents to 2,232 residents, an intercensal change of +8.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nazareno as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
